rata hosted our second ever Drataverse Live earlier this month, bringing together industry experts and thought leaders to explore the latest trends and innovations in the field. 

The event was packed with thought-provoking and insightful discussions, covering a range of critical topics that are shaping the future of security and compliance. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge ideas, learn from the best in the business, and connect with peers who are equally passionate about driving progress in this vital industry.

On the Main Stage With Adam Markowitz

Our CEO, Adam Markowitz, kicked the day off with a five-star keynote presentation highlighting Drata’s mission to democratize trust by alleviating the burdens of manual risk and compliance management.

Adam also pointed out how crucial the voice of our customers is to our daily operations at Drata, fueling product roadmaps and experiences. This feedback loop has allowed us to build and iterate rapidly, delivering industry firsts within just three years. Of course, our world-class product alone won’t achieve our mission—that’s why we have world-class people and programs as well.

Exclusive First Looks at What’s New in Product

Adam passed it off to our VP of Product, Brian Elmi, to share some exciting product updates. In the past year, we launched over 300 new features and made over 1900 customer-specific enhancements and fixes. 

Key highlights include Adaptive Automation, which provides custom test-building capabilities using data from integrations, and User Access Review, which streamlines and automates  processes for Okta and MS365 SCIM provisioning. We also introduced Third-Party Risk Management with AI capabilities to simplify risk identification and an Evidence Library for centralized evidence management integrating with various platforms like DropBox and Jira.

Brian outlined our product strategy, focusing on continuous monitoring of controls and evidence, identifying and remediating control gaps, and understanding internal and external risks. He introduced Compliance as Code, enabling continuous control monitoring from code to cloud, reducing organizational friction, and resolving issues faster. 

Integrated Risk features were also discussed, including Risk Assessment 2.0 for proactive risk management and streamlined vendor intake. 

Finally, Brian unveiled updates to our Trust Center, with a new CRM integration with Salesforce, a redesigned public experience for easier access to information, and a comprehensive dashboard to track key performance indicators—showcasing how customers have saved over 23,000 hours in security documentation requests.
