With trust and transparency driving every software decision, Drata and AWS are reshaping how buyers evaluate cloud software in AWS Marketplace. Through a new test integration, select Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can now embed a link to their Drata-powered Trust Centers directly into their product listings.

This integration gives prospective buyers a fast, transparent view into a vendor’s security and compliance posture—right where purchase decisions are made. No back-and-forth. Just real-time insights that eliminate friction and accelerate procurement with confidence.

Solving a Growing Challenge for Cloud Procurement

As cloud solutions become more embedded in enterprise tech stacks, security reviews are more complex, time-consuming, and necessary than ever. Buyers need immediate assurance that the tools they’re evaluating meet strict compliance standards and won’t introduce risk.

That’s where Drata comes in.

Our AI-native Trust Management platform powers this AWS pilot, enabling ISVs to publicly share real-time compliance data, framework mappings, and security documentation—all within their AWS Marketplace listing. More than 50 Drata customers who are AWS Marketplace Sellers—including Abnormal AI, Obsidian Security, Tealium, and Sigma Computing—have already added their Trust Centers to the Marketplace, setting a new benchmark for transparency in software sales.

“As a cloud-first organization, integrating Obsidian Security’s Trust Center directly into our AWS Marketplace listing empowers us to proactively showcase our security posture and compliance certifications where buyers are already making decisions,” said Alfredo Hickman, CISO, Obsidian Security. “This level of transparency not only speeds up procurement but also builds instant trust with customers.”

A Shared Commitment to Transparency and Speed

This initiative marks a significant moment for the cloud software ecosystem. It’s the first time trust signals have been made this accessible at the point of sale—removing barriers between security teams and software vendors. It’s also a reflection of the strong partnership between Drata and AWS.

“Trust is the foundation of every successful business relationship, and we’re proud to work alongside AWS to make trust more visible and accessible across the software ecosystem,” said Kevin Kriebel, SVP of Business Development at Drata. “As the first GRC provider participating in this test, we’re delivering a first-of-its-kind buyer experience that brings trust signals to the point of sale.”
