We also heard from Drata’s CEO, Adam Markowitz, and VP of Product, Brian Elmi, as they shared unique insight into how and why these capabilities came to be. If you missed it, don’t worry. We’re sharing all the highlights in this blog post.
Adam Markowitz Announces Adaptive Automation
Our CEO, Adam Markowitz, announced the launch of our new automation engine: Adaptive Automation, pointing out the distinct need for customization in today’s tools.
The need for automation is clearer than ever, and if you’ve spent any time looking for a compliance automation solution, you’ve learned that not all automation engines are created equal.
That’s why we built Adaptive Automation—a brand new automation engine with speed and configurability at the forefront. Instead of relying solely on our out of the box control tests, you can now build your own completely custom tests of your controls.
At Drata, we realize that no two companies are the same, no two companies use all the same systems, and no two companies use all the same services on those systems. With Adaptive Automation, compliance automation will never be one-size-fits-all again.
Drata customers will never have to choose between automation and configurability—you can have it all. Without needing to code a single line, you can build custom nested logic right in the UI using the datasets collected from integrations with your tech stack.
AI the Drata Way
We also launched some new AI capabilities that will help you save time while managing third-party risk. It’s the first in a long line of product capabilities coming your way powered by AI to further automate and streamline your risk and compliance workflows.
When it comes to AI, it’s not just about what we’re launching, but how. In the business of trust, we always put privacy and security first. We move fast, but we don’t cut corners in the name of speed.
So, we built our AI feature on a private-by-design infrastructure. We run LLM models under AWS bedrock, and your data will never be used for training by the LLM providers.
Risk Assessment 2.0
Our new risk assessment module will help customers have a solid foundation for assessing their risk posture and to address the requirements of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and others.
Once Risk Assessment 2.0 is fully launched, you will be able to:
Customize your risk register with Drata’s pre-populated risks or add your custom custom risks.
Assign and delegate risks seamlessly to relevant parties.
Evaluate risk impact and prescribe the most effective treatment plans.
Centralize all risk management efforts within the Drata platform.
FedRAMP Readiness Framework
We also unveiled new functionality tailored to streamline and simplify FedRAMP compliance processes for organizations.
Using Drata to achieve FedRAMP compliance, you can:
Organize, manage, and meet FedRAMP requirements effortlessly.
Access out-of-the-box requirements and control mapping.
Tailor security baselines to your specific needs.
Easily identify and address high-priority tasks for compliance.
At Drata, we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in security and compliance management. We will continue to innovate based on customer feedback, staying dedicated to providing cutting-edge tools and unparalleled support.
